Our Story…

It was love at first serve when one of the owners of Club Piklbal was first introduced to the game of pickleball by a good friend from Virginia. After that, she was hooked and played with friends every week, growing both friendships and skills.

“As New Hampshire’s summer weather was ending, we needed to find a place to play inside,” she says.

The options were limited. Odd hours at community centers with crowded open play times with players at different skill levels often felt clicky and uncomfortable.

That’s when the idea for Club Piklbal was born!

Club Piklbal is a premier indoor pickleball facility. Our courts, programming and easy bookings for courts and events are all designed to enhance your playing experience.

What’s not to love about pickleball?!
It’s easy, social, affordable, and great exercise at any age.

But, in a seasonal community like the Lakes Region of NH, there are a few things that can put a damper on things….

  • When the weather doesn’t cooperate, an outdoor pickleball game is a ‘No Go.’ 

  • Indoor basketball and volleyball courts are not ideal for pickleball or your knees, back, or feet.

  • Non level specific open play can be nerve-wrecking

At Club Piklbal, we are eliminating all of that.

We are only offering all of the things we love about pickleball (and then some)!

What is Pickleball?

Think tennis, but with a paddle instead of a racket, and a hollow plastic ball instead of a tennis ball. It also involves a different set of rules, but they are simple! To play, 2 - 4 players hit the ball over a 34-inch high net until one side is unable to return the ball, or they commit a rule infraction. 

Although it was invented in 1965, pickleball has gained in popularity internationally, and it’s no wonder to us. It’s fun, social, and easy for anyone of any age or ability to jump in and play!
